The Bernh. Pedersen & Son Sideboard No. 156 comes in two lengths: 83″ and 65″, and is an iconic achievement of Bernh. Pedersen & Søn. Model 156 sideboard is available in oak, walnut, teak, or rosewood in either oil, soap, or lacquer finish. On request, the piece can be custom-made in almost any type of wood.
Sideboard no. 156 was designed in 1966 and taps into the essence of Danish Modern with its clean lines, functional design, and expert craftsmanship.
The sideboard features tambour doors that roll seamlessly into the back. It is a rare technique today that is pleasing to the eye and functionally ideal as it minimizes the space needed. The cabinet’s interior is beautifully finished, with shelves on each side and a middle section with optional pull-out dovetail trays in solid wood for added storage.
To add extra detail to the design, the legs are pulled slightly under the sideboard to account for skirting, making it possible to place the sideboard up close to the wall. With a veneered back, it can also find great use as a room divider. The eloquent lines and high-quality cabinetmaking will make this piece of furniture look beautiful in any setting.
The sideboard comes in two lengths, and every piece is made in Denmark and individually numbered on final assembly.

The No. 156 Sideboard has six center designs to choose from. Choose small or large trays or a combination of both. For those who don’t need trays and want to utilize the 156 as more media and storage cabinet, shelving may better suit your needs. All shelving is adjustable, and additional shelving can be purchased. This item can be further customized by request.
