Le Klint 150 Large Cassiopeia Pendant is an architectural sculpture art piece that strongly features a combination of pleating designs and lighting effects.
Designer Amanda Taarup Betz graduated from the Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts in 2005. Her award-winning work, exhibited in galleries and museums, fuses art and architecture with design.
For the recent exhibition ‘FOLD’, Amanda created a number of folded and pleated objects, one of which was an early version of the lamp ‘Cassiopeia’. Through an experimental process, Amanda succeeded in creating a unique pattern of octagons on the surface of the shade
